Hi, I have an epson stylus colour 3000. I'm thinking about upgrading to get a better quality print for fine art printing because the dots in the prints from my 3000 are often obvious, especially in lighter colours. I've had my 3000 for about 4 years. However a friend of my'ne has an epson stylus colour 1160. I cannot see any dots on any his prints. Both the 1160 and 3000 have 1440x720 dpi printing and 4 colour. Why the difference in quality? I'd be happy with the print quality from the 1160, but now I wonder "why would I upgrade to something of the same resolution?". Must be an obvious reason that I'm missing. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short. Use accurate subject lines. http://www.leben.com/lists for list instructions.
