Re: Making Decals
I just picked up "body sticker tattoos" for the kids. Purchased from Staples, close out for $4.00 a package.

The kids are a bit disappointed, because these tattoos are more like decals than the traditional water-release tattoos. the adhesive will stick to anything!

They have a double sided adhesive sheet to use to transfer the image layer to, and then you use water to release the paper transfer sheet from the final face surface. But the fact is it is more like an adhesive backed acetate than a super thin, highly flexible skin hugging oil based transfer, like the "real" transfers.

www.clubinventit.com for more info.

Be aware that there is no "white base" and they are totally transparent, so contrast and color choices must be planned according to the base upon which you wish to apply. I bet if you sprayed the finished print white, allowed it to dry before affixing the adhesive layer, you'd do ok!

After writing all this I went to the above link and found they do have DECALS! link is below...

I presume they are same/similar, minus the wetting requirement (though ya never know- could be same product marketed differently...

Good luck,
