<x-charset iso-8859-1>Nick: I too find cutting that thick RR Denali paper a real hassle. I take it to a local print shop, they rip it more than cut it. I found a Dahle Cut Cat roller-based cutter 18" long in one of my company offices (about 300 miles away) cut it just fine---only trouble was that when I bought one for myself, the slightly newer version didn't cut well. I sent the card to the office supply place in Michigan where I bought the Dahle, and they advised me I'd have to spend $250 on a guillotine-style cutter to be able to cut the paper properly. I returned the Dahle (less 30% restocking fee) and didn't buy the bigger unit. This isn't a big market for me, so if anyone has any ideas on cutting these thicker papers cheaply, there's more of us that would like to know. Forget Rotatrim---just can't afford it! I'd like to print at 720dpi, but would settle for something that holds 360 I'm using a 1270 w/CIS<<< I have a 1270 w/OEM carts. I use Avery business cards because they are pre-scored. They print beautifully at 720dpi but they are also a bit thin. Red River Denali 76lb 2-sided matte (www.redrivercatalog.com) prints just as nicely and is a nice thickness. There are other manufacturers of good quality 2-sided matte, but I find it a big hassle to cut the business cards. How do you do that? ***************************************************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
