Here is the latest in my saga of red prints and print previews when using ICC profiles - no fix yet. Last night I called Epson, and after a miserable experience with a senior technician who told me that you were not supposed to use printer profiles. When I asked to speak to someone else he connected me to a tape with an 800#. So I called again and got to a level 2 technician who walked me through deleting everything related to the 1280 driver and to the download for the latest driver. As that was going to take time, he told me how to install and to call again if it did not fix the problem. He felt that the problem is probably NOT corrupt ICC profiles, but this was something to try. After an 1 hr. download time, (can't get a fast connection where I live), I installed - and the prints and print previews are still red! And for the person who suggested checking ink level - there is over half a cartridge left. Someone else suggested a PIM conflict - but I don't use PIM, as I don't have a digital camera.
