<x-charset iso-8859-1>curiouser and curiouser. I use a 1GHz Athlon and W2000 Professional. I used to get a profile association problem message, ('could not find device')and the profile would not show up in the appropriate directory(s), but was clearly operating. That went away sometime after i got the newer Photocal update, and the profile showed up correctly in the /WINNT etc. folder, and could be associated correctly under Devices. Then i got the Wacom interaction problem, which is easily solved. No specific problems now, except i get video ringing since i installed more memory. seems to be associated with heavy disc hitting. It starts out clean, then gradually accumulates, and is often clean again once i do a cold reboot. I checked all the video setting that are civilian accessible, and recalibrated the monitor profile (i use 5000K and have no trouble getting the individual guns set, and achieving 85-95 lumens per instruction). The ringing doesn't seem to affect anything except my poor annoyed eyes. Any chance this is a timing issue too? ted ----- Original Message ----- From: "Geoff Murray (Boyer)" <Geoff.Murray@norske-skog.com.au> To: <epson-inkjet@leben.com> Sent: Thursday, March 21, 2002 11:55 AM Subject: Re: Getting the right monitor profile > > When I tried to use my Spyder Photocal kept hanging part way for me as well, > even after unplugging everything USB based and trying all different USB > ports.
