I recently converted an 1160 printer to Piezography B&W inks. I followed all the manufacturers instruction to the letter. After running off 5 successful prints, I had a total clog in the red channel ink. After attemping 5 cleaning cycles with no result, I removed the cartridge and used a flushing cartridge. When I tried to reinstall the ink cartridge, I got a "cartridge out of ink" message from the printer. My question is: Is there a way to reinstall a partially used ink cartridge (fool the printer) in an 1160. Also, for those of you with experience with the Cone inks, are the B&W inks more prone to clogging than Epson inks? Thanks, all. Tom Lavin - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
