Re: Polaroid Sprint Scan 4000

<x-flowed>I've had a little experience with SilverFast, more in re my Epson
836XL flatbed, with which SF 4 was bundled, than in re my SS4000,
with which SF 5 was bundled. In fact, that's one reason I wanted an
SS4000: so I'd have the same software on both (after upgrading the
flatbed's software). But I haven't used it very much on either
scanner because I usually just do a "raw"(?) scan into Photoshop and
work on it there. I did call LaserSoft Imaging's customer service in
Florida a few times; they were pleasant and helpful, and I appreciate
their having an 800 number. You can get a feel for what you can do
with SF from the web-based tutorials of Ian Lyons, a photographer
from Northern Ireland. Search on his name on SilverFast.com, and
you'll find them.
