It's bit complicated to figure out which source is the cheapest, combining all factors, like sizes of bottles, ink and CIS quality, and shipping ... It would be helpful to know to how many Epson cartridges (for the 1200) a set of e.g. 6x4oz bottles compares, or 5x500ml bottles. Does a set of 6 x 4oz bottles contain as much ink as 10, 20 ... epson cartridges? The comparison on the nomorecarts pages relates to an other Epson printer. I found a german source for Epson 9000 refills (220 ml), Staedtler dye ink (ca. 52 Euros) and Fotonic (ca. 90 Euros). This is not much more than inkjetart.com asks for them, but still not really a cheap bulk ink source. And it asks for a too big initial investment. Gerard: I checked out the maya ink site. If their inks really are lyson inks, they are very expensive. Since you have the french version of the big ink system (with bottles): is there a needle sticking in the bottle and sucking the ink out of it, or simply the tube? I guess the bottles have a second hole with a tube to allow the air move in when the ink is drawn out. I beleive a while ago I had read a thorough instruction for installing the nomorecart CIS on their website. I can't find it anymore!
