Richard, I'm using an 1160 with the Piezography software and inks, and a CIS system. I run the printer off a second computer that is dedicated to the printers. This makes for a very efficient workflow (the two computers are linked via a LAN). My print times are very quick. A 13x19 inch sheet is printed in under five minutes. I don't think your printing time issue is directly related to the printer. It has something to do with the way your system is set up. This should be easily corrected if time is important to you.
