I don't expect each 1270 to print the same as all the others 1270. What I 
expect is that my 1270 will print the same. The print I made 6 months ago 
should match the print I made from the same file 6 hours ago. 

Do we really even print the same file the same? I print almost all my prints 
at 720 dpi at 1.5 gamma. I use the 1.5 gamma because it matched the files I 
had previously printed on my EX the best. Someone else moving from the 1200 
to the 1270 may print at 1.8 gamma. The only true test is to run the new ink 
thru the same machine using the same file at the same settings and see how it 
compares to the print of the old ink.
