I am new to photo printing and struggling with ink running in the dark colours on my prints. Any Ideas? Hardware: Epson 1290 (same as 1280 I have gathered), Epson Premium Glossy, Epson Ink. Printing from Photoshop 5.5 (Photoshop colour space Adobe(1998)) I have experimented with many driver settings, but my base settings are: Space: RGB Printer Colour managment: On Media: Premium Glossy Colour Managment: Colour Controls At 2880dpi the 'PhotoDisk' printer test image runs baddly in some of the darker colours in test charts, at 1440dpi the offending colours just look a littly blotchy (ink runs have not spread to surrounding areas). In other images there are bad runs even at 1440dpi. Could I have a printer problem?
