Re: Fade Tests - "New" vs Old OEM 1270 inks

<x-charset Windows-1252>Bob: Something I was wondering about, and it's probably an obvious point
that I'm missing. Using Epson drivers for the new ink, the prints are not
even close to the old ink in color match. I was able to cure that by
re-profiling. For example, in looking at the before and after scans on Bob
Meyer's website, I assume he must have generated a new profile for the new
ink to allow such a close match to the old ink. I wonder what variable is
interjected by using different profiles -or, maybe it is a non-issue if the
prints before fading measure exactly the same colors.
