<x-flowed>w/ respect to printing with a laser printer on both sides, and then adding color inkjet images, here are some additional considerations... I've run into problems with some papers curling (from the heat) so badly that getting the second side to feed is a major chore. Sometimes it has helped to let the paper cool, and weight it down to flatten it after the first side is printed. A second problem could arise when running paper not intended for laser printing through the laser printer. Who knows what the heat will do to those coated surfaces? Will the surface stay with (on) the paper? Or, will it be deposited on the inside of the laser printer? I've also seen bad roller marks on some papers. On the other hand, if the paper is dry mountable, maybe it will take the heat, and at least with respect to the coatings will be OK. How does the temperature for dry mounting compare to the temperature encountered in a laser printer? In theory, I think the idea has merit. But, I'd experiment very carefully. Linda Good idea - my concerns would be: 1) how well the un-coated side would accept toner 2) if both sides are the same color (on MHW they are not) 3) what effect, if any, the heat of the fuser would have on the coating Jim Wingo - Turn off HTML mail features.
