<x-flowed>It is noisy, it is cheezy. But it's cheap. I love mine, even thought the paper handling sucks, and it can't go past 8x10's in the standard sizes. If I had the money, I'd still get a 1290 (I think??) and keep my 780 as a backup/small prints printer. Same inks, resolution, print quality. Just poorer build quality. Don ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Rick Schiller" <rschiller@att.net> I'm thinking of getting a 780. It seems to be getting good reviews and should print as well (or better) than a 870 and as well (or nearly so) as an 890. However looking at a 780 compared to an 870/890/1270/1280 the 780 looks way cheesier. I also understand its quite a bit noisier. Does anyone have direct experience with the 780 compared to some of the other more expensive Epson printers. The 780 sure is cheap (c.$115).
