you need to graph the gamut.
The cheap method is to go to our site and download GamutView. Then
(in Photoshop, with the 9 slice file) choose your monitor profile in
the proofing setup and select out of gamut colors (leaving the
selection active). Then choose your Epson profile in the proofing
setup and turn on gamut warning.
The more effective method is to get a graphing package like our
ColorThink and build accurate 3D graphs.

They produce different colors, think of a circle fitting over a
triangle. I did a quick graph of it in 2D a while back. Check it out

Even though the RGB encoding of a monitor will support 16 million
settings, a typical monitor will have a gamut volume of about 2.2
million colors. An Epson will vary a lot but have around 1.2-1.8
million colors. (these are calculated volumes, the actual number of
colors the human eye can see is best left for another argument, uh,
thread)
