I give my washed off sheet some ink as soon as I finish printing these four panel prints for my next show to make my deadline. In a message dated 8/4/01 10:17:43 PM Eastern Daylight Time, julianv@mindspring.com writes: << At the NY MacWorld Expo, I chatted with one of the Epson people about this new paper. She told me that it has a gelatin layer which is supposed to capture the ink, thereby providing some protection against the atmospheric reactions implicated in the "orange fade" phenomenon. Washing a print with water might damage or remove this gelatin coating. But I guess we will have to wait for reports from users. -- Julian Vrieslander <mailto:julianv@mindspring.com> >> - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
