On my PC, I used to be able to store my Photoshop files on my desktop. If I saved as a .psd file for example, it would have a little Photoshop icon. If I double clicked on the icon on my desktop, Photoshop and the file would open. Now, when I save to the desktop, no matter what file format I save the image as, it is saved as a Windows icon, and I cannot do the double clicking. I must open PS, and from there navigate to the file on my desktop which is in its original file format although it shows as a Windows icon. It's just 2 extra steps, but does anyone know how I can get back to saving files on my desktop as Photoshop files? Helene - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
