Hi folks, I just picked up a refurb 860 printer on ebay. I want to take the cfs loaded with mis 1270 inks off one of my 1160s and stick it on the 860. Then I want to get another cfs and mis quads and stick it on the 1160 that had the mis 1270 inks. My question is.... Can I just pull the carts off of the 1160 and just stick them on the 860? I mean ink is not going to squirt out the bottom of the carts or anything right? I dont think the extra hose is going to matter right? Are the mis 1270 inks and the mis quads compatable? Can I just stick the mis quad cfs down were the mis 1270 inks were? And print till all the color is flushed out of the heads? I know somebody can answer this. Thanks a bunch.
