Using the Epson 1200U scanner with Profiler RGB, I also got very poor
results with the Epson Twain software. However, as I have reported here
earlier (2/6/01, 6/25/01, and 6/26/01), with Vuescan as my scanner software
I have been able to get good profiles that need only a little tweaking.
