Hi Stephen, I just ran into this problem with my 1270. Solved it by going into the printer's preference settings and changing the spool directory to a drive that had lots of space on it. I think the default is your start-up drive. When I changed the default to the new drive, the error messages went away and I was able to send a large print to the printer. Mind you, that said, I did get a strange result. The print completed but a couple of "strips" are missing on the print. It's as if the print head didn't make it to the edge of the print and then about halfway through, there is an extra strip missing to the end. This part I don't understand.
