Hi Alan, I've done a good deal of printing on Denali premium matte (47 lb) with mixed results. It's not as bright as Glacier, and warmer in tone. And (IMO) doesn't hold shadow detail as well. It's prone to curious "crosshatching" artifacts, with pigment inks, in deep black areas. On the plus side, it's relatively inexpensive. It's not a bad paper, but nothing very special, either. Why not ask for some samples, or buy a small pack, before committing to this stuff. >From what I've seen, either Glacier or Denali have been bettered by Epson archival matte, which is at least as heavy and as bright as Glacier. I haven't tried the Epson papers with pigment inks yet, though. rafe b. - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
