Don't bet too much on that.  As often as not, prices are set by the seller's
perception of what the markert will bear -- and nothing else.  The identical
product may be packaged, marketed, and priced for the specific market.
Consider disposable contanct lenses, mattresses, and possibly OTT-LITEs.

A closeout 870 or 875 is now so cheap, that some enterprising person may
care to test this by utilizing a CIS system and Epson pigmented inks.

Hmmmmm!
