<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi david, 1. i had like to know how to verify the version of photocal and profiler rgb i am using and if that is the current one. How do i do that? i am on windows 2000. The version tab of the properties window of the photocal.exe file says it is version 2.2.0.3. Is there a difference with the current version 2.2.1 on the colorvision ftp? The version of profiler i cannot find. Was it updated or changed 27th of december 2000? 2. I use a epson expression 1600 pro scanner for profiling with profiler rgb with epson twain driver. In the new documentation it is advised to set the gamma settings at 150 instead of the default 100 when scanning the printed target. This makes the image quiete light/faded. Is that correct? to me for other normal scans gamma 100 would be the correct one. Any reason for this specific setting? thanx jan albrecht ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Miller" <dmiller@cloud9.net> To: <epson-inkjet@leben.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2001 10:14 PM Subject: Major update to Profiler RGB documentation now available > Hello all: > > I've just completed and posted a major new revision to the Profiler RGB > documentation.
