Re: HELP missing profile window

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi Randy

The "Space" box should be there. I have many Epson printers including an
"OLD" 600, and the box does appear even for the Epson 600. I believe that
it's Photoshop that adds this box to the Epson Printer dialog. I also use
Windows 98SE so any Mac vs PC theories do not apply. That box should be
there.

Maybe something went wrong with the Photoshop installation?
Have you tried removing and then re-installing the printer drivers?

You can always apply the profile in Photoshop right before printing. Go to
the "Image > Mode > Profile to Profile" command.
In the dialog, choose your working space in the "FROM" box. In my case it's
"Adobe RGB (1998).
In the "TO" box, choose your new Epson profile. In Photoshop 5.5 I always
found it best NOT to select the "Black Point Compensation." It sometimes
creates muddy blacks.

DO NOT save your image AFTER apply this PtoP conversion.

Your image may turn some ugly strange colours at this point but don't worry,
it will not print like this. It should print exactly like what you were
seeing BEFORE giving this command.
That's it.

Serge
