<x-charset iso-8859-1>Randy Writes: "Where do windows folks select the profile? I would love to get the story strait! The creative pro website tells me to put the printer profile in the space dropdown box! Somebody else says to put rgb in the space box and go to printer properties to select my printer profile. Somebody else says that there is a box missing from my window! I was hoping that the profiler rgb/spyder people could help me get this strait but the software has never showed up yet." *********************************************************** Randy This is probably not your problem, but you can check it out: In my ThumbsPlus software I had the definite problem of parts of dialog screens being missing. The tech reps would tell me I ought to be checking a certain box(to add a Photoshop button), but the box didn't exist on my screen. But they soon solved the problem for me. It turned out that I had to change my font size(Windows ME on my machine) from a custom 158% setting to "large fonts" I am running 1024X1280 resolution on a 17 inch screen, and on Thumbs plus, at least, it caused the dialog boxes to be truncated. I changed the fonts to large fonts and this was successful. But, I had to change the font size back to 158% after I made the correct selections in ThumbsPlus, because the fonts were too small on other programs. Anyway, on my PS 6, when I click print, at the bottom of the dialog box it says print space and then the two selections below that are: Profile: I use Epson Stylus photo 1200 for this. Intent: perceptual. I can email to your address that screen to you (Microsoft word doc)so you can see what it looks like. This is how the Thumbs plus people solved my problem.
