Fair enough, and I agree, but this next is all haywire, sorry to put it that way: >I agree that you can't expect a lot of service at >$200. But you should expect them to deliver what they >advertise. They delivered what they advertised: a sealed box from Epson labelled as an 1160 printer. As I have posted elsewhere, Epson is making good on the paper feed tray at no further expense to me. They didn't ask the wrong tray be sent back, so anyone who receives an 860 (or probably just about any other narrow carriage Epson) is welcome to my "spare." What could be more fair and square than that? My NEW 3000 arrived with a defective CD, making the loaded print driver deliver all colors but cyan. Epson paid to ship the printer back, while sending the replacement in advance of receipt of the old. I kept the nearly new carts, a $240 value at the time; Epson specifically did NOT want them shipped back with the printer. I stress, NEW printer. And I stress, Epson was the responsible party, both times. So have fun blowing the extra $75 and up to get "new"! Bob Tyson >===== >Bob Meyer - Turn off HTML mail features.
