good substitute for rice paper (although it is stiffer). I have tried it and
it is great. Another paper that might be of interest for scrapbooks is Red
River Zeppelin, a lovely two-sided semi-gloss, which I also highly
recommend.

Red River Paper makes a vellum paper, although I've never tried it.
Their sample pack is a great deal.
