<x-flowed>>I have recently switched to Photoshop 6 from 5.2, and twice now have had the >disconcerting experience of having picture files print out at the wrong >size..... > >Ken Robbins I suspect you have "Scaled To Fit Media" selected in the PS6 Print Options dialog. When it is checked it will scale an image even if it will fit on the page without scaling. The Print Options dialog is a great one stop location for Page Set Up, Printer Color Management, placement on the page, scaling, etc. and contains the print preview we've all been waiting for. Another neat feature I like about PS6 is when it writes a file to disk (at least on the Mac) it places the files pertinent info in the Comments Box of the Get Info for the file. For example, a file of mine contains the following data right in the Finder without having to opening the file: 8-bit RGB flat TIFF file, 2550x3498 pixels (8.50x11.66 inches) @ 300.00 pixels/inch, written by Adobe Photoshop 6.0 william - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short. Use accurate subject lines. http://www.leben.com/lists for list instructions. </x-flowed>
