I have found one exception to this "rule" that might be worth exploring. Gelatin-surface papers. Start with Ilford, as it's easy to find and gives nice results. Xg paper is also gelatin-surfaced. Of course, there's a catch. If you go this route, be aware that the print surface never quite dries, and stays delicate forever. You'll need to mat and frame the stuff very, very carefully -- and/or use a laminate, or perhaps a spray coating (eg. Krylon) to protect the surface. rafe b. - Turn off HTML mail features.
