<x-charset iso-8859-1>I haven't had the reported flaking on LFA, but I bought a large quantity when it very first came out and am still on that batch. It's possible some manufacturing change may have occurred. I'm also now suspect that these papers are not all identical. You seem to be getting slightly different results with Frankfurter than LFA or Orwell. I seem to remember Ernst Dinkla posting that Hahnemühle insists Lyson puts their own coating on the paper, as opposed to Hahnemühle's German Etching, the same base paper. Ernst seems very informed about all things Hahnemühle. Allen Takichi Maertz first began posting about this some time ago, I think his conclusion was to wipe the paper before printing, then spray it afterwards. This rebranding and lack of info gets a bit tiresome. And what are these new Luminos papers? Probably something we've already tried under another brand?
