<x-charset iso-8859-1>Someone a few days ago was asking about recommended monitors. Andrew Rodney reviewed 3 in the Sept 2000 PEI magazine: The Barco ($5K), the Samsung 900NF ($400) and the CTX PR 1400F ($1000). The Samsung is a 19" monitor "a very nice unit at a great price", goes to 1800x1440 ppi at 72Hz with 0.25 mm dot pitch, and the display is "absolutely flat and very sharp" with "excellent onboard controls." Three year warranty. If I quote the article any more I'll get sued for copyright infringement. I have no experience with this monitor, but if I was in the market it sounds ideal if you can accept the smaller size. Perhaps a second monitor for palettes....
