Why would we print from Photoshop using a Postscript RIP?
We print pre-press proofs almost exclusively from Quark. For instance a book
cover proof (8.5"x11" trim size) has to be printed front & back cover with
crops&bleeds (and spine if any) = 11"x 17" image (if no spine) PLUS the
bleeds&crops. If you know how to print that (on 13" x 19" paper) without the
90 degrees ratation, please let me know. I am fully aware that the RIP has
to do all the calculations related to the rotations....

We never had this problem with Quark (3.x or 4.x)

Now talkin about neck-breaker... ;-)
This is not practical for us, we sometimes print hundreds of pages a
month...
