Re: New 3000 printer, Total clog in the color heads. Air line problems

<x-charset Windows-1252>Jerry,

What you describe sounds *exactly* like what we experience with our first
3000. It arrived in brand-new packaging and had apparently never been used.
We installed the Epson ink cartridges according to the instructions and
waited for the ink loading procedure to complete.

Multiple nozzle checks revealed that no color was emitted from the color
heads. Black head printed perfectly. No amount of cleaning cycles nor
flushing and reinstallation of the color cartridges helped. Epson requested
that we return the printer for replacement.

The replacement printer (different serial number, but appeared to be new not
refurbished) worked the first time and has been through a set and a half of
Lysonic-E since running out of OEM ink with nary a clog.
