<x-charset iso-8859-1>I have found that using the right paper makes a huge difference. Epson High Quality ink jet paper or similar paper from another maker yields much sharper results than plain photo copier paper. The ink jet paper has a coating which prevents the ink from bleeding and gives much sharper text. So assuming you are using good ink jet paper and not generic plain paper, select the paper type to match the paper you are using and use the "Quality" rather than "Speed" setting on the driver. This prints at 720x720 DPI rather than 360x360. -----Original Message----- From: owner-epson-inkjet@leben.com [mailto:owner-epson-inkjet@leben.com]On Behalf Of tflash Sent: Wednesday, October 25, 2000 5:09 AM To: epson-inkjet@leben.com Subject: Text settings Anybody know what are the best settings to use on the 1270 for sharp text output? My results so far are less than impressive. Todd - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
