Read this quote from the last message I received from MIS.

MIS Associates Inc wrote: The Photo EX and 700 are both difficult for CFS operation. The suction created by the print head is critical. Some printers of this model can do it fine and others can not. I suspect you have one that just can't make it. There is no sense in us sending more hardware for you to try. Your best course of action is to put in some new cartridges and get it working so you can make prints. Sorry you have had so much frustration with this project. We have tested a couple of 700's in our lab and both worked fine. However, we do get more tech support calls on the EX and 700 than on any of the other printers. They are real touchy and not easy to get going. In your emails and on the phone you have expressed yourself so well, that we clearly understand your high expectations. Due to the nature of this product, and your critical application, we believe the best solution is a refund. Your credit was processed this morning. We are sending you a set of new cartridges to use to restore your printer back to normal. I don't wish to prolong the three weeks of this process and the frustration it's brought any further, but do feel that I'm owed greater compenstation than ink for being a guinea pig. Any comments?*
Also in one of the last posts on CIS choice, Rafe mentioned CIS's David having run a thread earlier about why the 700 wouldn't work...so apply this to your EX and you may have the reason. From my newly wizened vantage point, it would seem that CIS only sells product that they are reasonably sure will work.
- Alana
James Martz wrote:
At 04:34 PM 10/23/2000 +0000, you wrote:

>Buy CIS.
