<x-charset iso-8859-1>Just to be pedantic, I was at the RPS in Bath on Thursday and one of the centrepieces was a large Ansel Adams print on very glossy fibre based paper. Anyhow it was interesting to note that in their annual print exhibition last month, about 1/3 of the prints were digital, with most of them being inkjets. So it seems the establishment has finally accepted us. The others were on the marvellous if ridiculously expensive Fuji pictography. I would be interested to know if anyone has experience of the pictography. I despise glossy prints! Imagine Ansel Adams prints on really glossy paper. UGH! I read through Nollendorfs page, and he mentions you'd need a RIP for the 3000, but that the 1160 might be the answer. I hope so. I would love it if his inks worked in the 1160 with CIS. I don't want to use my 1200, as that is set up for color only. Hope his inks will be available in bulk. I couldn't and wouldn't put up with dinky cartridges. Have you any idea of their price or if they will be available in bulk? He also mentions the inks will work on Arches and Somerset papers, which is what I am using and like a lot. Jerry - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
