<x-charset ISO-8859-1>Equipment that doesn't work is not restricted to refurbished items. I bought a new 870 printer that would only print one color! After many nozzel cleanings and some suggestions from Epson tech it still failed to work. They sent me a new one pronto, talked to them on a Wednesday, had the new printer on Friday. Guess they had plenty laying around. <g>. (Cheap shot.) I don't care where you buy, if you buy often enough you are eventually going to get a dud. Happens to everyone. It's how problems are handled that counts. I am not as big a fan of Epson as I once was given their response or lack thereof to the orange shift problem, but I will give them credit for taking care of this problem quickly and properly. They even picked up the return shipping. Can't ask for more than that. Now if only they would come up with a consistent policy on the 870/1270s with the orange shift problem.....
