dry mounting epson boards

<x-charset iso-8859-1>Hi Art:
I can't help you with hot mounting.
But here's an alternative suggestion:
I suppose you could try spray adhesive, masking off the first "set" piece
when spraying for the subsequent pieces you attach.

I'm interested in how you do the joints-do you overlap your prints and then
cut with an Exacto knife. Can one easily see the seam where they join? Or
are you using a deliberate gap between the prints and let the viewer
"connect" the smaller pieces into the whole image?

I have been running trials on dry mounting Epson prints to rag mounting
board.

I am trying to build a large picture from several smaller pieces but I am
having
troubles with the prints bubbleing/blistering.

At first I was using too high a temperature and too much time, so I reduced
it
to 180 degrees F for about 15 seconds on each side (so the board would not
warp.)

Part of my problem may be that I mount the larger print and then two smaller
prints for a total of three pressings. The last time I did this, the first
two
prints were fine and the third blistered, but not badly.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

BTW, the ink jet paper used was Jet Drive dual sided matte and it sat
overnight
after printing to insure it was dry.
