<x-charset iso-8859-1>> Now I want to ask you something: I wanted to buy this 880. But I read on

We sell a continuous inking system for both the 1160 and the 860/760/740.
We have not yet examined the 880 to see if our current system will work with
that printer (the cartridges do have different identification numbers)

We have not tested this printer, but I suspect that 2280 is merely a
marketing ploy. The printhead is the same 4pl printhead as the 860, the
only difference is that the paper advance can move at small steps. It is
like the scanners that claim 800x3200 resolution, when in fact they are
really 800x800, with a 1/4 step motor that does nothing to improve image
quality.
