RE: Spray on Coating for prints?

I tried the Gepe Gloss spray and didn't bother staying around long enough to
see if it helped prevent the orange effect. Didn't care because the stuff
made the surface of the print unacceptable. Despite the "gloss" label, it
left the surface looking like a matte, with numerous random and very
conspicuous spots due to uneven application.

It could have been my lack of tecnique, but I was careful to shake well but
without inverting the can and causing potential air to be mixed in (if
that's even a valid concern) and studiously followed the written
instructions. After 6 attempts, I had to conclude that this wasn't a
solution for me.

Result: 1 returned 870, a purchased 1200, CIS and alas (due to bank balance)
probably going to have to splurge for the Horses product.
