1270 and Epson Glossy Film

Has anyone tested the Epson Glossy Film on a 1270 yet?

In a conversation with one of Epson's customer relations guys today, he
suggested that this may be a solution for those of us who want the
appearance and "feel" of a glossy photo print (albeit plasticy), and not
get the cursed orange shift. I asked if there was any evidence that this
could be a solution, and he just said it would work ok.

In a later conversation with my personal Epson Therapist (the now famous
Shelby Houston, with whom I've been talking for over a week), she said
that she couldn't confirm the EGF survivability, but would send me some
samples to try. I don't get orange shift in my clean living environment
here in central NJ, so I hope someone who does can try it out.

Bob Meyer.... are you out there? We need this tested in your infamous
air duct! Call me if you need some samples.... or better yet, ask Shelby
for some. By the way, she referred to your testing as a great service to
the cause.
