Sam, I have removed the pizza wheels and it makes no difference, it may even be a little worse than before about 3/8" on a 22" print. It's strange that this seems to be the solution for some and make it worse for others. BTW Cathy Brown came to visit a few days ago as she is signed up for the Santa Fe Photographic workshop. She told me all about you living quite close, relatively speaking.
