<x-charset iso-8859-1>Laurie: I'll not get in a wordy battle here, but the fact is that Jerry doesn't even own a 1270, nor has he had any experience with the Premium paper. To make a blank statement condemning it is, to say the least, an alarmist proclamation without foundation on his part. I can go back through this list's messages and a lot of personal e-mail where users have tried the paper and not had the fade problem. That is the crux of this whole matter. Why Liz and not me? That is what Epson needs to discover and fix. So, in the name of accuracy, I will say that many many people have had success with the paper; some have not. It is not a univesrsal 'turn to ornge' phenomenom that some would suggest. Not a 'skewed' observation...just a simple observation. Period, paragraph, end of message, and end of topic as far as I am concerned. bob snow ================================ ----- Original Message ----- From: Laurie Solomon <laurie@advancenet.net> Subject: RE: Yes, another newbie In the name of accuracy bob, we do not know if "many, many others have had no problem with it at all."
