<x-charset iso-8859-1>Troy, the first shipment of Xtreme Gamut inks for the 1200 were supposed to ship June 19. I suppose they have since I haven't heard otherwise ... but I have yet to receive my order. So, no one will be able to answer your question. There have been some reports on this list of fading on the Satin paper. The inks/ paper combos have been submitted to Wilhelm for testing. Results for the 6-ink set are not expected until about October. I sell prints to the public, and the low gamut, MIS or Generations pigment inks just won't do--I can't sell them! I have not seen the output from the x-gamut inks, so I'm looking for opinions from anyone that has a 1200, and who has tried the inks. Are they as good as claimed? How about the satin paper, is this similar to a matte photo paper or what? Any comments appreciated! - Turn off HTML mail features. Keep quoted material short.
