I am sorry but you are not correct. If quality maxed out at 200 to 300
dpi inkjet printer mfg. would not be producing 720, 1440 and higher
print heads. They don't produce these kind of printers just to take your
money. 

There is a definite visual difference between a 300 dpi print and a 1440
dpi print. If you can't see it then you need to think seriously about
having your eyes checked. 

I must admit it is difficult to see the difference between 720 and 1440
at the proper viewing distance, but 300 you can see. It is not as sharp
and the transition between colors is not as smooth.
