Yes David, and so does film. An expiration date means "USE BEFORE" because if you don't the properties will have deteriorated. It does not mean that if you use ink w/an exp. date of say 6/2000 the end product will fade into oblivion on that date. Believe me, I have many negatives shot on film that expired 10 and 20 years ago that still havent faded a bit! btw, no one is suggesting the expectation that prints from an inkject or anything else that mankind can put on paper would last 100 years!
