There didn't seem to be a consensus among those who tried it that it worked well enough. One or two said it worked, but I suspect that many others tried it and found it not to be "the magic bullet". I tried taping carts in ZipLoc baggies to a drill bit, spinning inside a cardboard box (just in case). Didn't persist long enough to convince myself it was worth the considerable trouble. . . maybe if I had built some convenient hardware mounting I would have continued. This WAS useful for rinsing old ink out of a cart with isopropyl alcohol. As erstwhile epson lister Steve Chlupsa said, this rinse made the sponge MUCH more receptive to refilling. After tiring of the drill spin, I tried swinging the refilled carts around in a long old stocking, never really sure if it helped. Today I still haven't found "the answer", and just shoot up a few refills the simplest way while I'm resting, try 'em and pitch 'em if they don't work, falling back on OEM carts when I run out of refilled carts to try. As a hobbyist, I can afford unreliability. ---Ken - ** Why pay more for shipping??
