I just got off the phone with Gary from Zones.com
1-800-408-9663 ext. 3886  He has 17 in stock right now .
$849. and a few cents (unfortunately you can't get the 10% off at
this time). Still the best price I've found out there.
You won't find it on the web page (something about the 10% sale they are
having now) so you have to call him to get one.
I ordered mine on  Dec 28 and it arrived on the 31st.
So the Zones .com service was good.

Now if only I could get Epson to send me a new warranty package.
There was a problem with missing banner paper holders/manual feed edge
guides.After a quick call to Epson I received a large box with a large part
that goes inside the printer (two metal plates with lots of plastic gears
inside,   and a cover for the cassette tray). After calling again I got the
right parts in a second shipment. I asked for the new warranty package and
received a third box with a paper tray and edge guide that looks like it
belongs to a 1520. I called again and was told they sent the warranty
package to me three times. Maybe someone on the list is expecting parts and
has my warranty package now.
Epson doesn't seem to want the extra parts back. ( Maybe I'll list them on
E-Bay).  So I'm waiting for another shipment,  maybe I'll get lucky and
receive a spare print head this time.
