There are a lot of posts about whether or not Henry Wilhelm's test results can be relied upon. It is very appealing to me to not believe him; then I could print happily on epson papers with epson inks, content that my sprayed pages would outlast time. But reality intervenes like a bad headache. What I do know for sure is that the market is a ruthless leveler. If there is any opening to doubt Wilhelm's work, even the slightest hint, he would be instantly outed. There would a blast of material in the literature trashing him and his process. The ink and paper vendors would make more noise then a bad rock band condemning his work. Regrettably, the silence speaks very loudly. I have to believe the bugger, accept his work, and continue pouring over Leben's list looking for some scrap of news to help in the constant search for papers, inks, sprays, profiles and voodoo chicken bones in search of those most elusive qualities, longevity, honest magentas, cyans, yellows and blacks in believable hue, saturation and brightness. So, please, if anyone out there knows of an authoritative source that has blown the whistle on dear old Henry, please let us all know. - Please turn off HTML mail features.
