New epson 3000 paper ejects too soon

Hi guys.  Just got my new epson 3000. Have it set up and printing already. 
Seems to print well, and I like the quality of the prints.  However every so 
often the printer stops in mid print, ejects the paper it's printing on, goes 
to the next paper, and finishes the print on that paper.  Can't figure out 
what I'm doing wrong!!  I'm using the automatic feed paper tray.  The  prints 
are only on 8 by 11 paper.  Sometimes it prints fine, other times it spits it 
out before the print is finished and continues the rest on the next paper.    
Can anyone tell me how to fix this??  Thanks a lot    Celeste
